The Court Clockmaker
Every Friday, all year round, around 80 clocks are wound at the Royal Palace of Stockholm. It is the Court Clockmaker Sophia Reuterdahl who is responsible for ensuring that the clocks not only keep running but also tell the right time.
The oldest clocks at the palace, which were made by the finest master clockmakers, remain part of the living palace to this day. They are beautiful works of art in their own right and most of them still work, continuing to perform their timekeeping function centuries after they were made.
The film is subtitled in English.
